Mike decided it was time to join his beloved wife Stana nearly 15 years after her passing. Dad was known for his kind heart and ready smile.
He will be greatly missed by his children Jacqueline (Howard), Josephine (Louis), Frank (Melanie), Gabrielle (Marcel), Janet (Sanjay); and grandchildren Dru, Jay, Jon, A.J., Ben, Raina, and Maddox. He will be mourned by the rest of his family in Canada, best friends and brothers Jozo and Marinko, and nieces Melanie, Frances, and Nicole. He will also be mourned by his family in Bosnia-Hercegovina and Croatia including his sister Mara and family, Dali and family, Lana and family, Ivan, Francika and family, Marinko and family, brothers-in-law Zvonko and Kreso and their families as well as sisters-in-law Toncika and Vesna as well as their families. He was predeceased by his wife Stana, his brothers Vlado and Stipe, his sisters-in-law Zora, Ana, Merle and Maria and his niece Zeljka.
Special thanks to the staff on the third floor at Golden West Centennial Lodge who were so kind and helpful.
A private family funeral will be held for Mike at a later date.
