DANIEL GREGG
Artist, nature lover, sports fan, animal enthusiast, avid traveller, voracious reader, and appreciator of all beautiful things in this world, Dan knew what he liked and spent his time enjoying life.
Daniel was predeceased by his mother Violet and sisters, Joan and Shirley. He is fondly remembered by daughters, Andrea Miln (Rob) and Melanie Gregg (Jason). Grandchildren, Dana, Avery, Tessa and Ryder will miss his laughter and sharing of ice cream, ju-jubes and other delights. He will be missed by many friends and his favourite sidekick, Marilyn.
Dan worked for many years in the Property Assessment Department for the City of Winnipeg. Much of his free time was spent in pursuing his serious hobby of fine art, painting at the Forum Art Institute, long-time acrylics instructor, and for a period served as Director.
In memory of Daniel please raise a glass (ideally of red wine) to toast him and consider making a donation to CancerCare Manitoba, Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, the Winnipeg Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 Des Meurons.
