I had the wonderful good fortune to meet and become a very close friend at the beginning (1968-1975) of the Klinic Health Center in Winnipeg. She feed me most Fridays and Sundays dinner (during UM medical school) at her home, as she became the Executive Director of Klinic. Her LEADERSHIP, compassion, wisdom and skills with young adults needing medical and emotional support And Seniors isolated and alone was profound. Always anticipating what was needed next and how to get everyone there. Yhetta laid the foundation for where Klinic is today, along with many local and national organizations ….and she raised 3 amazing children—-and Yhetta helped everyone on her path, and her extensive community. She was cherished by all. Blessings upon her forever. David McEwan M.D. - Posted by: Davi McEwan M.D. (Long term friend) on: May 06, 2025

I was privileged to serve on the board of directors of the Age and Opportunity Centre, Inc. during the years that Yetta was working there as the Executive Director. Her competence, wisdom compassion, and respect for the needs and rights of Winnipeg seniors set a high bar for social service agency leaders in Winnipeg since that time. Thank you Yetta for your leadership courageously sharing your gifts with us all. May you rest in peace. - Posted by: Laura Leah Steiman (Admirer and old friend) on: May 03, 2025
