It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Grant on April 2, 2025, at the age of 69. Born September 13, 1955, he grew up in Oak Bluff, Manitoba.
Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth, her partner Mike, father Lawrence and his wife Margaret, and his grandmother Annie Suller who raised him, Grant is lovingly remembered by his children: Nathan, Sarah (Joel), Martin Dunn (Laura), and their mother Helen; Robin (Dion), Leah (Joel), and their mother Jo-Anne; his sister Marcie; grandchildren, Zoe, Mason, Jackson, Gracie, Bryson, Rylan, Alina, and Olesia; and his loyal Shih Tzu, Angel.
Grant was very hard working and began at a young age at his father’s Esso station, later drove for Greyhound, and eventually pursued a career in sales, including sunrooms across North America - he will be remembered as a brilliant salesman.
In 2001, he defied the odds by surviving a neck cancer diagnosis with less than a 5% chance. He spent his later years enjoying family, collecting treasures, and time with Angel.
In March 2025, Grant was hospitalized with pneumonia and COPD. Surrounded by family and friends, he passed peacefully.
A graveside service will be held May 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson "In The Park" Cemetery.
