It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stella Zimmerman on May 11, 2025, at the age of 94 years.
She lived a life of faith and generosity and was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Stella will be deeply missed by her children, Leonard (Lesley), Arnie (Darlene), Ron (Alice), Darlene (Rob – predeceased), Diane (Phil), Wesley, her cherished grandchildren, Jorda, Michael, Len, Caitlin, Kyle, Justin, Sheldon, Eddie, Jackie, Mark, Natasha, Ashley and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Noah, Kor, Kellen, Avery, Easton, Kelsey, Joseph, Emjay, Taylor, Emily, Jessica, Calista, Nathan and Leandro.
Stella was predeceased by her husband Joe Zimmerman.
The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to the staff at the Rossburn Personal Care Home for the continued love, support and compassionate care during Stella’s final days.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Rossburn with Fr. Paul Bisson officiating. The interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
