Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Andy built decks with my cousin Mike Hawrysh and had built two decks for us at our property in Winnipeg Beach. Whenever we would meet, it would instantly be like he knew you all of his life. He had a golden charm. - Posted by: Roy Martin (Acquaintence) on: May 23, 2025

  • My sincere sympathies to his family for the great loss you are feeling. I would not have been able to manage having the cottage on my own without Andy. He was always the first person to help me from opening cottage to closing down. When I needed a water pump Andy said"wait I think I have one in the garage" Shortly later the pump was replaced. Better than the things he fixed or replaced were our talks on the deck always with a cold beer. I learned about his family, the trips Laurie & he went on, the jobs he has done in Winnipeg Beach, his golf adventures with Clint & the boys but mostly what came out of our talks was his love for his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. He loved bar b cues, surrounded by his family. He smiled & laughed easily. I will miss you Andy. - Posted by: Debra Jobin (Lake Neighbour) on: May 21, 2025

  • We'd like to offer our deepest sympathies to the children, grandchildren and the rest of his family. He was a good guy, always liked to have fun. Lise & Bob - Posted by: Lise CAPLETTE (Friend) on: May 20, 2025

  • We had met Andy through his niece Maggie. He was such a caring, truthful, and loving man. Funny too! We will miss talking with him whenever we go to visit his vast family in Winnipeg Beach. God has Andy now. He is at peace. Our love and prayers to his family. Cyndi and Ken Slapinski - Posted by: Cyndi Slapinski (Friends) on: May 19, 2025

  • Andy was a good friend and neighbor. He and Mike did a number of projects at our place over the years, they always had time for a beer at the end of the day. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Gord and Lorraine Fingland (Beach neighbors) on: May 19, 2025

  • We were very saddened to hear of Andy’s passing. The countless fun times we had with Andy over the years are epic. Such good memories. From the great times spent out at the lake over the years and all the fun we had in Mexico. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
