HENRY R. (BUTCH) KORDALCHUK

1937 - 2025

On the morning of May 20th, in a manner he had wished for, Butch passed away quickly and without suffering. By his side, as she has been for 64 years was his true love and best friend, wife Jean.

His timeless stories, quick wit, years of wisdom and guidance will be missed by daughter Leanne (Steve and their daughter Lorrine-Jeanne); granddaughters, Crystal (David and stepson Gordon), Jennifer (TJ).

Thank you to so many from Selkirk who have offered condolences and reminded us “What a great guy” he was.

A private family service will be held.

  • Bruce & I are saddened to learn of Butche's passing. Many fond memories visiting their cottage, backyard, get together, etc. I will fondly remember the cigar he carried in his mouth as he cut the grass. Always willing to help my mom/dad. He encouraged my hockey and music dream and was always there with a positive comment and smile. May the good Lord comfort the family at this most difficult time.
