It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Georgette Ste-Marie, 89, of Ste. Anne, peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosanne Courcelles (Stephane), Monique Ste-Marie, her brother Guillaume Johnson, her six grand-children, Gabriele Courcelles, Misty Ste-Marie, Dominike Courcelles, Melanie Ste-Marie, Tielar Ste-Marie, and Holly Okaluk, and her five great-grandchildren, as well as one sister-in-law Cecile Legal and one brother-in-law Ernest Desautels.
She was predeceased by her husband Armand Ste-Marie, her sisters, Alfreda Landry, Marceline Landry, Maria Marcoux, Marguerite Desautels and her brothers, Raymond Johnson, Lucien Johnson, Jean Johnson, Laurent Johnson as well as her parents, Albertine and Delphis Johnson.
Georgette loved to play cards as much as she could and with anyone who would play. She always tended to her big garden and worked hard at maintaining her house and yard. She loved to welcome guests and liked to feed them all, no one left hungry. She enjoyed time with family and laughed and joked around. She will be forever missed.
As per her wishes, there will be no funeral. Interment of ashes at a later date.
