EUGENE PETER ZINKO
Peacefully on May 30, 2025, Eugene Zinko passed away at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit at the age of 87 years.
Gene was predeceased by his parents, Pauline and Emil, his brother Paul as well as his in-laws, Karl and Alwine Weiss. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Helga, brother Walter, his children, Jim (Caryn), Lianne (Charlie), Jeremy (Claudette) and Jason (Connor) as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service and reception will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 200 Dalhousie Drive. For those of you who would like to watch the service via live-stream go to:

In lieu of flowers, our family suggests that donations can be made to one of: Epiphany Lutheran Church; CancerCare Manitoba Foundation; or, St. Boniface Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit.
