GLENN SPROULE
It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Glenn Sproule (“Pa”) on June 8, 2025. He will be missed by his loving wife, Eleanor; children, Graham (Cheryl), Adam, Ian (Jenny), Andrea (Jay), and Jenny (Steve); his beloved grandchildren, Hayley (Corey), Elizabeth, Leyna, Savannah, Grayson, Tucker, Vada, and Townes; and his great-grandchildren, Alex and Jakob. He will also be missed by his sisters, Gail and Patricia; his late brother Gary’s wife, Kathy; as well as his nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Glenn enjoyed an exciting and successful career as an independent Grain Futures Broker at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange for 35 years before moving on to real estate and then retirement. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, and all his grandkids loved their Pa. He loved watching all sports, especially his beloved Blue Jays. An avid bowler, Glenn enjoyed both playing and coaching throughout his life. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing cards with friends.
Glenn faced many health challenges over the past several years, but despite all this, he always looked on the bright side and was able to enjoy time with friends and family. We would like to thank all the doctors and health professionals who were a part of his care. A private celebration of life has been held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.

Eleanor and family, You bore witness to one of the good ones on this or any other earth. His smile could light up any room and challenge was always was met with the same smile and zest for life. Bigger than life in many respects, I know he has had his health challenges of late and I want to thank you Eleanor and family for looking after the original "BIG Guy" in my life. Sproulee I shall see you on the other side...I hope HAB - Posted by: Hugh A. Benham (Colleague and Friend) on: Jun 22, 2025

Our families were friends many years ago and our parents lived across the street from each other on Ashburne Street in Winnipeg. Great summers at Willow Island. - Posted by: BURT GILLINGS (childhood friend) on: Jun 14, 2025
