The family of Ian Thomson announce with great sadness his passing on March 29, 2025, at St. Boniface Hospital at age 71.
Ian is survived by his wife Cherrlyn Thomson, daughter Mary and family, son Raymond (Amanda), grandchildren Emma and Nathan, brother Bruce (Sheri) and nephew David, as well as James and Lynda Falloon and Marlene Blackman.
Ian was predeceased by his first wife Marjorie Thomson (nee Falloon), his father Douglas Thomson, mother Stella Thomson (nee Szmadyla), mother-in-law Helen Falloon, mother-in-law Melanie Charles, brother-in-law George Falloon and best friend Murray Ward.
Ian’s Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday June 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at our church, Riverwood Community Church - “The Warehouse”, 270 Gordon Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca) would be appreciated.
