It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joyce Mary Crawley, age 98.
Predeceased by her husband Jack Crawley.
Joyce is survived by her children, Cathy Crawley (David Bartlett), Doug Crawley (Nancy Vandenburg), Rob Crawley (Patricia), and Don Crawley (Darcy Heron). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Jennifer Lafontaine, Emma Bartlett, Sophie Crawley and Maja Crawley.
No formal service will be held and a private family interment will be arranged in September.

Cathy, Doug, Robbie and Donny, As I write this I'm thinking about your mom and what a kind person she was. I'm also looking at a photo dated July 1968. It shows your mom hopping onto Steven Brewer's homemade minibike powered by some sort of gas engine. Anyway it was going to be the race of the century. Your mom, dressed in blue shorts, matching top and a wide brimmed straw hat on the minibike, and, my mom on an old bicycle. I don't remember who won or what speeds were achieved (no speed limits broken)....but only in East Kildonan, west of Henderson could something like that happen! I'm saddened to hear of your mom's passing. She was a kind and caring soul, one I considered a good friend. I enjoyed our many conversations. Sharing stories, fond memories, adventures and accomplishments.
