It is with deep sadness that the family of Diane Beatrice Koenigbaur announces her passing on June 26, 2025, at the age of 80. She died peacefully at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, surrounded by her children, surrendering herself into the arms of her Lord Jesus.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Emmanuel at St. Alphonsus Church, 315 Munroe Avenue, Winnipeg, on Wednesday, July 9, at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Diane’s life.

We were the first one to rescue Diane when she was victimized by a carnapper at the parking lot of St Alphonsus church. We couldn't imagine how she survived from that spiritless attacker. My sincere condolences to the Koenigbaur family on Diane's passing. Jen, Jason, Janice, Marion - I am very blessed and thankful to have been kindly included in many Christmas gatherings over the years at the Skellys, and I would always enjoy catching up with your mom and having a chat, and would always see the joy she had visiting with her grandchildren.
