Dennis passed away June 15, 2025, partner of Heather Shewchuk, at St. Boniface Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity of Life, 933 Summerside Avenue on July 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

Heather-I was not expecting to see Dennis’ obituary in Passages. My Anglican Church shares worship space with Trinity United and I saw the Celebration of Life scheduled for July 14. I’ve known Dennis as a neighbour for over 30 years, as I lived with my husband on Acadia Bay. He was a force … always had his own perspective on any situation. I know you & he were considering selling your home and moving to a smaller community. Met Dennis in the 80s ads Shriner who joined the Khartum Motor Patrol of which I was a member, Dennis fit right in always willing to help whenever it was needed. Haven't seen him much in recent years but always remember him as a likeable guy and sorry to learn of his passing. Our Sincere Condolences to his wife and family. May he R.I.P.
