ROBERT JOHN HOOSHA

1947 – 2025


John passed away on June 29, 2025.

He leaves behind his son Robbie and sister Faye. He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret, sister Myrna (Don).

John’s career in plastics of 53 years started with Reliance Plastics for 25 years and Foam Pac for 28 years, retiring in Gimli with his sister passing away at her home.

A big thanks to Jack (you know why). He will be sadly missed by his niece Deb (Dan), nephew Bob and by all his cousins and friends.

A big thanks to Jamie and Janet for all your help.

In compliance to John’s wishes, there will be no formal service.

A donation in his name of your choice would be appreciated.

  • My deepest sympathy to Faye on the loss of her beloved brother John. Words can't describe how she must be feeling. Tears will always be there. I know it's never easy losing someone you love. I lost an infant sister at 11 months (which I do not remember), grandparents on both sides, my parents were the hardest. July 23 2013 (mom) and March 2 2018 (dad). most recently my 2 cats Hairy end of May 2024 and his uncle Grumpy end of February 2025. I still cry. Memories will always be there.   • I knew John for 20 years. I sold him parts for his machines at Foam Pak. He was always a pleasure to deal with, and he was a straight shooter all the time.
