It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Herman DeBaets at Ste. Anne Hospital on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the age of 85.
Herman is survived by Alice, his wife of 61 years; sons, Cory and Jason (Christal); grandchildren, Kayla, Kyle (Taylor), Keith, Kate, Ashley, and Raina; great-grandson Tyson; brothers, Ken (Lucille) and Jerry (Brenda); sister-in-law Lucile; and numerous extended family. He was predeceased by his son Darcy; parents, Adolph and Ruth; and brothers, Donald and Murray.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba, (10-120 Donald St., Wpg. MB R3C 4G2) in his memory.
A huge thank you goes out to the caring and compassionate staff of Ste Anne Hospital for the exceptional care of Herman during his 14 month stay.
