Peacefully with family at her side, Alphild passed away at the Ashern Personal Care Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, in St. Helen’s Anglican Church in Fairford, MB with Shirley Cranford officiating. Interment to follow in the Hilbre Cemetery.

I just read of your mom's passing and wanted to send my sympathies to the 3 of you. Your mom and dad were best friends with my parents, Frank and Gladys Wheeler, when they were young. They were best man and maid of honour at their wedding. Gordon and Frank also worked together at MTS. It was a special treat to have your mom attend their 60th wedding anniversary in 2010. I also remember dad crying when Gordon died. Mom passed in April of 2024 at 100 yrs and I have been going through a lot of photos of their lives. There are so many of the 4 of them in their twenties having so much fun. I remember they were always laughing when they got together.
