LOUIS ALPHONSE HEBERT

It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Louis Alphonse Hébert.

He was born in Saint Malo in 1943 the youngest of seven boys. He moved to Winnipeg, but loved going back to the cottage in Saint Malo and spending time with his family.

Louis loved his Sunday afternoon drives with Margo. They also enjoyed going camping across the country from coast to coast but especially throughout Manitoba. He did his best to go to Bolerama every year. He loved fishing and being outdoors. In his younger years he liked to play guitar with friends, brothers and his father.

Louis had a long career at the Winnipeg Airport (WAA) as airfield maintenance foreman where he made lifelong friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Marguerite (Margo) Hébert (nee Labelle); his three daughters, Carol (Brent), Joanne (Lorne), Mireille (Aimish); his precious grandchildren, Logan, Arran and Amélie; his brothers, Hilaire, Etienne (Cécile); and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; as well as nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son Marc; his parents, Cyrille and Adélina; his brothers, Julien, Auguste, Marcien, Achille and good friends, Clem and Antoine.

Your friends will be waiting for you with a Timmie’s double double.

As per his wishes no formal service will be held.
