Marilyn June Gurr of Brandon passed away July 16, 2025, at Valleyview Care Centre at the age of 76 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Lena Brown; brothers, Elgin Brown and Lyall Brown.
Survived by her husband of 56 years, Glen Gurr; son Scott (Jaelene) Gurr, daughter Coralee (Dan) Charles; grandchildren, Ethan (Sophia) Armstrong, Janae Armstrong, Alena Charles and Cody Charles; her siblings, Ken (Pat) Brown, Georgina (Tony) Woychyshyn, Doreen Hodgins, Mel (Chris Anne) Brown, Joy Osman, Ray (Bev) Brown; numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on July 22, 2025, at the Smoland Cemetery, Minnedosa, MB.

My condolences to the Gurr family. So many memories of Marilyn. Always willing and ready to have you into their home. A special woman who worked hard.
