Missing you greatly, and I always will. You were a wonderful father-in-law and I'm so sad you had to leave us so soon. I'm glad I got to say goodbye and tell you these things in person. I love you and will remember you always and forever. You were the best. Thank you for always helping us and taking care of our needs. First of all I am sorry I could not attend The Funeral today due to illness. I met Henry in 1980 whilst on vacation from England .I enjoyed Canada so much I wanted to live here but realized I would need a job. I was a fitter / welder by trade and subsequently found myself at Dominion Bridge. Henry was given the task of giving me a welding test. When The foreman (Palmer Solveson ) Came back to see how I had done Henry said "I had done just fine". As a result of that reply I was offered a job as a fitter / welder and the rest is History. Thank you Henry. I worked at the Bridge for several years before moving on, during that time I saw Henry as a guy who enjoyed having fun, he liked to joke around but when he spoke everybody listened. Our condolences to you Tina and all the family you are in our thoughts. Kathleen, Geoff Richard and David. - Posted by: Geoffrey Moore (Workmate / Friend from Dominion Bridge) on: Aug 09, 2025

Dear Tina, Charles and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Henry's passing. What a great loss of a wonderful man. I remember Henry as always smiling, always happy and always a great kidder. It was a joy whenever I ran into the two of you, catching up and having a few laughs. I feel very grateful to have known him. May he rest in peace. P.S. I'm sorry that I will not be able to offer my final respects to Henry in person, as I am away visiting with my son and his family. My sincerest condolences. - Posted by: Lesia Truchan (Friend) on: Aug 03, 2025
