GAIL JANET BUETI
It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Gail Bueti on July 28, 2025 at the age of 74. Gail passed away surrounded by her family at Riverview Health Centre. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Christine Marand, her husband of 28 years, Rocco Bueti and her sister Debbie Yetman. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Paul (Franca) Bueti, daughter Cristina (Matt) Bento, stepdaughters Kathy Bueti, Natalie (Ron) Chan and grandchildren, Payton, Delaney, Dominic and Rocco. She also leaves to mourn her memory her brother Dennis (Erika) Marand, their daughters Kristin (Mike), Nicole (Chris), and nephew Jesse Yetman; in-laws Antonietta Bueti and Grazia (Antonio) Spezzano; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Gail was born in Winnipeg and graduated from Garden City Collegiate. During her career, she worked for Inter-Collegiate Press/Herff Jones and Manshield Construction. She also took pride in volunteering with St. John’s Ambulance as well as the Sons of Italy La Lupa di Roma Lodge.
Her greatest joys were spent with her family, in particular her children and grandchildren. She always enjoyed dancing, baking, cooking, gardening, and took great pride in her roses and peonies. She would always lend a helping hand, one of her greatest skills was event planning. Gail will always be remembered by her smile and wonderful laugh, which will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Gail’s strength and resilience carried her through a courageous battle with cancer over the last five years. We would like to thank the many friends and family who visited her, especially over the past few weeks. A special thanks to Dr. Paulson and his team at CancerCare Manitoba and all the wonderful staff in Palliative Care at Riverview Health Centre.

Dear Paul, Cristina, Kathy and Natalie. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Auntie Gail and extend our most sincere condolences to her immediate family and extended family Gail was a very special person who entered all of our lives when she married Uncle Rocco. She brought to us a beautiful blend of French and Ukrainian culture and attitude that expanded and improved our Italian family. She was ever so kind, helpful and fair. And was she fun! She loved to socialize with her friends and family, and could Polka and Tarantella with the best of us. She will be in our hearts forever. Vince and Sandie Bueti. I was sadden to hear that Gail passed away. We both attended Garden City Collegiate together from Grade 9 to Grade 12. I have memories of coming over to Gail's Mom and Dad's house frequently. My mother shopped at Safeway and always had Debbie as their cashier. We all met at my house to take pictures of our graduation day and she helped decorate the car. It was a wonderful memory. Rest in peace my friend. Fondest memories Linda. - Posted by: Linda Bakowski (Curle) (School Friend) on: Aug 02, 2025

Paul and Cristina, I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother. I had the privilege of working with her at Herff Jones and formed a nice friendship and discovered our children went to school together. I too remember her wonderful laugh. She was always happy. I'm sorry we lost touch after Herff Jones. My thoughts and prayers are with you both at this very difficult time. - Posted by: Shelley Brown (Past Co-worker) on: Aug 02, 2025
