• Doug was the sweetest soul.He ws a a true friend in every sense of the word.Doug was so supportive of our Band Mother Groove.We spent many evenings talking and laughing between our shows.Doug and Sharon would join us at Chistmas for dinners at our home and they would always bring the joy!! • Doug was a cousin & life long friend. Although our life paths diverged we reconnected as neighbors six years ago. I always enjoyed our time together and have great memories of childhood experiences, fishing with our grandfather, learning to play cards, having our hair cut, exploring the wonderful garden & yard on McLean Avenue in Selkirk. Doug's determination, independence & courage in life was amazing as well as inspiring to me and to others, I'm sure.
