Peacefully on Sunday, July 27, 2025, Diane passed away at West Park Manor, just shy of her 94th birthday.
Diane was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, daughter Linda, her parents Stella and David Pollard, and brother Robert (Joan). She leaves behind her children Susan (Carl), Jill (Trevor), Alison (Don), Michael. Diane was blessed to have ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Diane was born August 2, 1931, in Winnipeg. Mom was raised on Ruby Street. She attended Daniel McIntyre school. Mom continued her education after having her four daughters, successfully completing her RN nursing degree. Mom and Dad had a wonderful time raising their family at West Hawk Lake, leaving memories to cherish. They enjoyed 25 years as Arizona snowbirds. They had a wonderful group of friends, referred to as “the bridge group” which brought a life full of laughter.
Mom and Dad had a marriage lasting over 60 years, enjoying many trips to Hawaii, U.S., Scotland, England and cruising the Caribbean.
Cremation has taken place with interment to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation could be made to Friedreich’s Ataxia Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society.
