Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLENNIS ANNE (MOORE) KING
At the age of 90, at Calvary Place Personal Care Home, Glennis Anne King, our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour.
Glennis was born in Canora, Saskatchewan. She left the farm at the age of 17 to start a job at the Winnipeg Free Press. Glennis met her future husband Clifford at church and they were married November 20, 1954.
Glennis was at heart a homemaker, but worked part-time in the credit department of Zellers. Later, she was employed at Hudson Bay in the china department, which she loved. Glennis had dishes for every season and every occasion. Years later, Glennis worked at MBCI, with her dear friend Esther Dyck, in the school cafeteria and served meals to students. She also enjoyed catering and baking for friends and for family craft sales. Her incredible Christmas cakes were loved by many, far and wide.
Glennis also enjoyed music and loved listening to her grandchildren sing at family gatherings or at church. Glennis’ other interests were caring for her family, baking, shopping, family road trips and camping. Glennis had the gift of hospitality as many guests enjoyed delicious meals around their table.
Glennis was predeceased by her parents, William and Alice Moore; in-laws, William and May King; loving and devoted husband Clifford of 65 years; brother Bert Moore; brother-in-law Dave (Hazel) King; and her precious grandson Everett Patterson King.
Left to mourn are her daughters, Sheri (Don) Ward, Judi (Berni) Bargen; sons, Jeff (Colleen) King and Chris (Kerry) King, as well as her 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Also left to mourn are brothers, Don (Fern) Moore of Creston, BC and Wayne (Pat) Moore; sister-in-law Mary Moore; brothers-in-law, Bob (Millie) King, Art (Gertie) King and sisters-in-law, Carol King and Louise (Dave) Hargrave and their families.
The family would like to thank the staff at Calvary Place Personal Care Home for all the loving care provided to Glennis.
A private graveside service and Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

We will miss our dear sister. She was a very special lady and we loved her dearly! We enjoyed many great times together, going on road trips and just spending time together playing Canasta, which she loved. Now you are with the love of your life, Cliff, praising your Heavenly Father. We love youđź’•. Don and Fern - Posted by: Don & Fern Moore (Brother and sister in law) on: Aug 30, 2025
