It is with profound sadness and deep love that we announce the passing of Kimberley Dawn Fedoruk - Aged 58. Kim passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2025, after facing pancreatic cancer with immense courage and grace.
Born in Winnipeg, Kim dedicated over 30 years of her life to caring for others. She earned her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Red River College and worked with skill, pride, and compassion in ICU and Emergency departments from Houston to various locations across Manitoba.
Kim is survived by her beloved children, Alex and Paige; her mother, Janet; her brother, Glenn (and children Justin, Jaiden and Jett); her Auntie Lesley and Don; her cousins Kristi (and son Chance), Jarrett, and Alison (husband Todd and children Justin and Serena). She is also survived by her biological father Frank Warsaba, (wife “Aunty" Lorraine and sisters Andrea and Dana) as well as a very large and deeply caring extended family and many cherished friends and co-workers.
Kim was truly a person who brightened every room she entered. She was known for her boundless kindness, heart of gold, unshakable spirit, sharp wit, and a sense of humor that could lift anyone’s heart. She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 6, 2025, in the lower-level hall of the Royal Canadian Legion at 215 Maxwell King Drive, East St. Paul, MB. Doors open at 1:45 p.m., with the formal service beginning at 2:30 p.m. Light snacks will follow.

We cannot say thank you enough to the doctors, nurses, and friends at the Selkirk General Hospital as well as the medical staff at HSC, Cancer Care and Palliative care. Kim's final two year journey was incredibly hard. Thank you to the staff and friends who helped Kim out, and from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being with Kim to the end of her journey.

Kim & I met on the day she moved to Houston (around 1988) & we quickly bonded. She was so much fun to be with. We spent many a "dateless" weekend together renting movies, eating spaghetti & enjoying cocktails. She invited me to join her & her parents in Oaxaca one November creating lasting memories for me. We were so young & knew how to enjoy ourselves. Many a night we would meet at Bennigan's after work to decompress after a tiresome shift. She was a wonderful nurse & a major loss to Houston NW Medical Center's ICU. I was so happy I was able to find her on FB where we reconnected & caught up on all that had happened in our lives. It was as if we never parted. Farewell Kim, Houston was a better place with you in it; gone but never forgotten. Kathy - Posted by: Kathleen Lacoste (friend) on: Sep 03, 2025
