The Dance by Garth Brooks:
Looking back on the memory of
the dance we shared beneath the stars above
for a moment all the world wasn’t right.
How could I have known that
you’d ever say goodbye
And now, I’m glad I didn’t know the way it all would end, the way it all would go.
Our lives are better left to chance
I could’ve missed the pain,
but then I’d have missed the dance.
The Love of my life Donnie. A wonderful husband and family man left who left a huge hole in Our hearts when he left us.
From your loving Grandchildren:
I can’t believe it’s been a year since the passing of my papa. I remember him as the silly, hardworking, and extremely loving man that he was. He was so proud of his grandchildren- Alyssa, Brooklyn, Keira, Carl, Mason and Brady.
I remember a time he called me, almost in tears saying how proud he was of me. I had sent him a picture of a letter I received from my school stating that I had made it on the honours roll for that semester. That moment is one of many that shows how much of a loving and proud papa he was. - Alyssa
