GUY SOULODRE

February 20, 1938 – August 23, 2025


Peacefully after lengthy health issues, Guy passed away on August 23.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris; daughters, Jacqueline and Suzanne (Paul); grandchildren, Casey Braun (Nick) and Diana Braun (Jordan); and sister Jeannette in Ontario.

A private gathering will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Jocelyn House Hospice or CancerCare Manitoba.

  • I knew Guy as my friendly "Sister" when we sang together as Sisters Of The Holy Rock for many years. He was loved and respected for his musicianship and his guidance and mentoring.   • Guy was a very special man, full of life enjoyed his motorcycle and taught me had to ride. I was extremely fortunate to have been able to enjoy our time cruising down the highways and enjoying nature together. Have fond memories our our great season curling together and having an enjoyable season competing in men’s at the old Fort Garry curling club and mixed with Doris and Cathy Gauthier/ Tardi.   • Guy was always incredibly kind to me. His love of music and laughter made him joyful to be around. He was open minded and supportive. He always formed his own opinions about people and did not allow others to influence his decisions about others.
