With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hugh Taylor Reid on September 17, 2025, after a courageous battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Through it all, he faced each day with humour, music, and love.
Hugh leaves behind his devoted wife, children, grandchildren, and many family and friends who will miss him deeply. We are forever grateful he's ours.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Army Navy - 3584 Portage Ave on October 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. In true Hughie fashion, guests are invited to wear Blue Jays or Jets gear.

I went to the same high school (Gordon Bell) and possibly the same elementary school(John M. King) Hughie was always a few grades above me, but I remember his ever popular presence.
