It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edwin (husband, dad, Afi), who left us peacefully on September 21, 2025. Edwin was born in Winnipeg on August 29, 1930, and spent his younger years growing up in the Interlake area.
Edwin will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sharon and his daughters Linda (John), Karen (Ron), Pam (Brett) and Lisa (Mike) as well as his sister, Helga Evans and his many nieces and nephews. He was a proud Afi, cherishing every moment with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought so much joy to his life.
Edwin loved the outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing or spending time at the lake with family and friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, his selflessness and the quiet strength with which he supported those around him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 30, 2026, in Parksville, BC.
