Grant and I have know each other since Junior High we would meet for breakfast, lunch or drinks and would discuss everything and anything that was going on in our lives. We were and ear for each other no matter what. He never had a bad thing to say about anyone and treated everyone equally with truth and honesty. He will truly missed even though I know he is in a better place at this time. He and Bill will be kicking up a storm now that they are back together in that brake shop in the sky. I met Grant and his long time business associate Bill over forty years ago when it was recommended to me that they operated a great automobile center. My wife and I started as customers and became close friends with Grant and Bill. Grant was one of the most honest, straight to the point guys I have ever met. He had the highest of standards and integrity when it came to dealing with his customers. He never took advantage and was always willing to listen and advise appropriately. When you usually hate taking your vehicle to a repair shop, it was almost a pleasure when you had to go to Superior Brake and Clutch. We will miss him very much. He is another guy who left us way too soon. Our condolences to his daughter Jennifer and the rest of the Friesen family as well as Craig and the rest of the staff at Napa AutoPro Superior Car Care. - Posted by: Ken and Chris Collins (Customer and Friend) on: Oct 13, 2025

Grant was a wonderful friend to our family and was always there to help. He has helped many people over the years quietly and without expecting anything in return. He was always there for our family and particularly our brother Bill who passed in February, 2024. After Bill's death, my sister Kathy and I would meet him for lunch/dinner and we always had a great visit. I will miss him a lot and know that my family will as well.
