On September 26, 2025, at 92, Shelagh (Quelch) Stevenson died as she lived: peacefully, without fuss, and on her own terms.
Much loved by her parents Stephen Quelch and Kathleen Marshall; siblings Fay and Marshall; husband Jack Stevenson; daughter Melanie Stevenson; son-in-law Roger Gillott; grandchildren Emma and Eleanor; and many other relatives and friends.
Beneath her unassuming manner lay iron integrity, a quirky wit, multiple creative gifts, a dedication to family and community service, and a talent for long and loyal friendship. We’ll miss you, Mum.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m., October 25, 2025, Church of the Redeemer, 162 Bloor St. W., Toronto, ON. Donations to Doctors Without Borders or The Common Table (https://theredeemer.ca/alt/get-involved-alternative/drop-in/) much appreciated.

I am one of the girls in "the club" I am sure your mom told you about us. I live in West Kelowna now. Sorry to hear of Shelagh's passing. We all had lots of good times as young people - and then later in life we finally allowed the husbands to come to our get togethers. We had a wonderful week-end at Gimli quite a few years ago.
