With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Crystal Charlene Yvonne Kalaitzakis (nee Chercoe), a dedicated daughter, sister, friend, public servant, community leader, and advocate for youth and social innovation.
A Celebration of Crystal’s Life will be held on Monday, October 27, at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour. Memorial donations in Crystal’s honor may be made a mental health program of your choice.

Words cannot express our condolences Lynda and Terry. God give you the grace to sustain you in your sorrow. We have great memories of Crystal. Knowing her from the time very early in life. She was a very rambunctious baby. Watching Lynda swaddle her tightly for a nap, I knew Crystal was anxious to challenge the future….and she did. Many memories of Crystal growing up…Visiting at Nanny’s Motel, getting into all kind of mischief with Paula. Sharing treats that were never ending at Nanny’s and much more. I believe the angels swaddled Crystal and carried her to the arms of her maker Who carved her on the palm of His hand and held her tightly to His heart where she has found peace.
