It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle, and Nana (grandfather) at the blessed age of 91. Isaac peacefully returned home on October 16, 2025, while in Palliative Care at St. Boniface Hospital.
Isaac was predeceased just nine months earlier by his devoted wife of 58 years, Iris. He is lovingly remembered by his children, Ivy Bhatti, Ileen Ajmal (Fakhar), and Ivan Najamuddin; and by his cherished grandchildren, Naomi Ratte, Nicholas Ratte, Noah Bhatti, Farah Ajmal (Asfand Wahid), and Maria Wainwright (Brody).
The second of twelve siblings, Isaac leaves behind four beloved siblings: Florence Rashida Ullah, Marcella Famidha Khan (Rana), Edwin Riazuddin (Jamila), and Harry Fazaluddin (Rosleen), sister-in-law Musharaf Fakharuddin and sister-in-law Edvina Massey. He will also be deeply missed by his large extended family - including nieces, nephews, cousins - and many dear friends who became like family.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Bethel Community Church, 430 Lakewood Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, with viewing beginning at 12:30 p.m.
