It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Raymond (Ray) Allan on October 8, 2025.
Born in Winnipeg on February 14, 1932, Ray spent most of his life there, with several years in Calgary before returning home.
He is survived by his loving wife Sophie of 71 years; children Randy, Gary (Nora), Cory (Lynne), and Denise (Mark); grandchildren Brittany (Nick), Ashley, Emily, Marly, and Colby, great-grandchildren Brody and Bristol and brother Garth Allan.
Ray began his career at McGavin’s Bakery, eventually becoming Western Regional Sales Manager for the Prairies, later founding his own distribution company for Mrs. Willmans Bakery until his retirement.
He loved gardening, home projects, and golfing with family and friends. A devoted Blue Bombers and Jets fan, he was also a proud member of the Charleswood Kinsmen Club, where he made many lifelong friends.
Ray will be remembered for his selflessness, loyalty, and kind heart.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will be held at Saint Gianna’s Living Waters Columbarium.
