BRYAN CHARLES NICHOLS

May 7, 1939 - October 15, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Bryan Charles Nichols, age 86, on October 15, 2025.

Bryan will be lovingly remembered by his two sons and their families, Todd and Dean (Lucy); by his grandchildren, Trevor (Ainsley), Jessica (Josh), Thomas (Michelle), Cory, Drake (Lauren), Dana, Lucas, and Nick (Emily); and by his great-grandchildren, Colby, Danica, Jenessa, Jordyn, Nolan, Hayden, and Gunner. Bryan also leaves behind his brother Campbell; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Bryan was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Gwen; by his parents, Dewitt and Christine; daughter-in-law Liz; by his brother Bill; and his sister Betty.

Bryan was a very well-respected, well-known and deeply liked resident of Dominion City. Throughout his life Bryan served his community in so many ways. He served 51 years as a volunteer firefighter, many years as a municipal councillor, and he was a long-standing board member of the Southeast Regional Health Authority.

Bryan loved his family deeply. He was easy going, kind and patient. We take comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with Gwen and with all those he loved who have passed on before him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Dominion City Community Hall.

Donations in Bryan’s memory can be made to the Roseau Crossing Heritage Pool in Dominion City or to any other local community charity.
