Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN MILLER
On October 17, 2025, John’s spirit soared to the spirit world, leaving us to cherish the many memories he created in his 90 years.
Born May 3, 1935, near Humboldt, Saskatchewan, to Mary and Joseph Miller - Romanian immigrants - John was the middle of 14 children; two siblings, Edward and Jean, remain.
He is survived by his sons, Terry (Claire) and Dwayne (Margaret); grandchildren, Cameron (Robyn), Katie (Mike), Kelsey, and Jodi (Al); great-grandchildren, Mabel, Quinn, Maddie, and Max; and many nieces and nephews. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, who will forever remember his love, guidance, and humour.
John will also be deeply missed by Marie, his partner of over 30 years, and her family - Denise (Ernie), Stephanie (Jamie), and Arielle (James) - all of whom loved and cherished him as one of their own. To them, he was both a dad and a grandpa, whose warmth, generosity, and playful spirit made every gathering special. Especially for Gabriel and Lili, who adored their Papa John, his loss is deeply felt by both families.
John will be remembered for his gentle heart, mischievous sparkle, and unwavering kindness. His legacy lives on in the laughter, stories, and love he shared with all who knew him.
Great appreciation to doctors Soliman and Ritchie who for many years, always had the time for John; to the caring staff at Riverside Lions, we offer our heartfelt thanks.
A photo biography is accessible through the 'tributes' link below. A private family celebration of John’s life will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders in his name.
