It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Linda Cheryl Ring on October 20, 2025, at the age of 74, at Seven Oaks Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on February 8, 1951 in Regina Saskatchewan.
Linda was predeceased by her parents, Albert Pearce and Alice Pearce (née Wright); as well as her brothers, Norman Pearce and James Pearce. She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Ring; son, William Ring (Kisti); daughter, Bronwyn Fontaine (Drew); sister, Kathleen Bergman; brothers, Kenneth Pearce and Douglas Pearce; and her cherished grandchildren, Leander, Eliza and Linnea Ring, and Arthur and Colin Fontaine, along with extended family and friends.
A passionate gardener and caring mother, wife and grandmother, Linda found joy in nurturing her garden and her loved ones. Throughout her career as a city planner and her volunteer work, she formed deep connections within her community and was renowned for her advocacy for affordable social housing.
