BEATRICE JOY COULOMBE
Our Mom, Bea, has passed peacefully in Riverview Health Centre with family by her side. As much as she was loved by us, her daughters, Lauri (Grant Romaniuk), Susan (Paul Hnatiuk), grandson Mark (Taylour, Madison), granddaughter Stephanie (Dan, Luke and Colby), and son-in-law Zsolt Szeredi, she was also greatly loved by her extended family and many friends. Especially sister-in-law Yolande Dimock, nephew Wade and nieces Debby and Marlyn and their children and grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Lionel, youngest daughter Janelle, her brother Donald Dimock and parents, Bert and Eileen Dimock, nieces and nephews.
Mom was the last auntie on the Coulombe side, predeceased by all brothers and sisters-in-laws and leaves behind many other nieces and nephews on Dad’s side as well.
Mom was proudly born and raised in Pine Falls, MB; later moving to Winnipeg with Dad and their young family in 1966 for Dad’s job with Manitoba Hydro.
Mom still has many friends from all her walks of life - friends from Pine Falls, Great Falls, Hydro, Hector Bay, Waverley Heights, SOTB condo, from travels overseas and even school friends! Missing her especially will be dear friends, Leo and Leone Sabot from BC and current neighbour Marilyn Nelson who have always been there for Mom.
We’d like to thank all the friends and relatives who travelled to come say good bye as soon as they heard Mom was ill, and all the visitors both at home and at Riverview. Thank you to Jim and Nicole for looking after her place. Thank you to her long time doctor, Michelle Evans. Much appreciation for CancerCare Manitoba BMT Team, Palliative Care nurses and Riverview staff who have been great!
And Thank you Mom, for being a great one!
Bea has requested no formal service so we plan to have a private graveside gathering at a later date. Seasons Funeral Service is looking after arrangements.
Donations can be made to CancerCare or Heart & Stroke in lieu of flowers.
