It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Hildebrandt, on October 22, 2025. John passed peacefully with his family by his side.
John is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Katy; his children, Harold (Cathy), Marlene (Dave) and Debbie (Sam); as well as his grandchildren, Jason (Marlina), Jessica (Rick), Corinne (Blair), Nicole (Scott), Michele (Devin), Katie (Brennan) and Karlee (Carter); as well as many great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his father Dietrich, his mother Anna and his sister Tina.
We share our heartfelt thanks to the team at the Kildonan House Personal Care Home for their compassionate and professional care over the past few months.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul.
Flowers gratefully declined; donations in John’s memory can be made to Canadian Foodgrains Bank.
