GEORGINA WASIO
Peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025 Georgina Wasio passed away at Grace Hospital; she was 97 years of age.
She was happy to still be in her home that her late husband Tony built in 1966 on Nightingale Road in St. James, where she resided for 59 years.
The family would like to thank the Winnipeg Fire & Paramedic Services and the doctors and nurses of the Grace Hospital for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Georgina's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Grace Hospital Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave.
