HARRY JAMES ELLIS

December 18, 1950 - October 26, 2025

We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Dad and much loved Grandpa Harry.

Dad passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the age of 74 years, after being diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in mid-September. He passed peacefully in his home on the farm, his paradise, surrounded by his loving family.

Dad will be forever missed by daughter Stacey (Craig) Lane and children Grady (Hallie) and Holly; daughter Kari (Steve) Haggarty and children Quincy and Paisley; daughter Amy (Jamie) Bell and children Spencer, Corbin, and Reegan. He will be missed by his sister Heather McKinnon; his brother Loren (Cynthia) Ellis, sister-in-law Debbie Hunter, brother-in-law Greg (Lynne) Alexander, sister-in-law Melanie (Torrie) Carter, sister-in-law Linda Alexander, and sister-in-law Lori Alexander, and their families. The loss of Dad will be felt by many close friends, neighbours and the Kenton/Lenore communities.

Dad was predeceased by his wife and our mom Connie Ellis who passed away December 21, 2024, and his son/our brother Mark Ellis on January 30, 2020; his parents Jim and Frances (Van Buskirk) Ellis; his father and mother-in-law Jim and Doreen (Sheardown) Alexander.

There will be a private interment at Breadalbane Cemetery. A casual celebration of life is planned for Friday, November 14, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Kenton Memorial Hall.

For those so desiring, donations in memory of Harry can be sent to Kenton Community Enterprises, Box 193, Kenton MB R0M 0Z0. Or if you wish, do a random act of kindness of your choice: donate to a charity; visit/phone someone you know in hospital/PCH or someone who might be lonely; or enjoy a beer with a friend - these are things Dad did often.

Arrangements are with Campbell Funeral Home, Hamiota, Manitoba.
