Norman passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at the age of 86 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Nick (2005) and Carrie (2007). Norman will be missed by cousins, friends at Actionmarguerite Saint Boniface (especially his friend Donna), and his special family, Lee and Dana Sutherland.
Sincerest of thanks to the staff of 4DE at Actionmarguerite for the care and compassion they have shown for Norman over the past 18 years, and for the respect and dignity they gave him in his last days. Thank you also to the spiritual care staff for their comfort and caring.
In accordance with Norman’s wishes, a private burial will be held. If people wish to do so, donations in Norman’s name can be made to Actionmarguerite Saint Boniface Foundation.

Norman lived in my neighbourhood from my childhood. He was a very sweet man. In spite of his challenging life, he had wonderful parents and appeared happy. After his parents passed, he seemed very content in his new home which reflected great love and care.
