Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Frank left an indelible mark on me from a young age as I was starting out in my career. His ability to lead, teach and move things along was something he did with grace. Although I didn’t know Frank well away from work everything I’m hearing from his friends and their adventures is just how Frank was. Problem solver, organizer, helper, mentor and much more. You could run into Frank after years apart and immediately feel reconnected. I loved listening to the stories, everything from his summer canoe trips, winter ski adventures, travelling to India and coming to Canada all those years ago. I’m grateful to have known him and won’t soon forget his smile, laughter and enthusiasm. Rest easy friend, you meant a lot to many. - Posted by: Grant Petersen (Friend/co-worker) on: Nov 27, 2025

  • I met Frank at CCBA Club few years ago. He was always an impeccable gentleman, eager to help at anytime with many tasks needed to keep the Club running. He joined our Czech and Slovak community on regular basis and during the last years also took on a role of President. I will always remember his kindness, conversations, fairness, enthusiasm, humour and smile. My condolences to his family and close friends. Rest in peace Frank! - Posted by: Giselle Majersky (Friend) on: Nov 26, 2025

  • I worked with Frank during my years at Dorsey Station when he was with Transmissions and Stations. He was a well respected employee with an impeccable work ethic. I had many interactions with Frank on many projects while he worked there. May you rest in peace Frank. - Posted by: Grant Taylor (Friend/ co-worker) on: Nov 22, 2025
