VIOLET KATHERINE RADEMAKER

October 15, 1944 -

December 15, 2025


With great sadness, we announce the passing of Violet Rademaker (nee Brown), beloved wife of 63 years to John, mother to Darryl (Robin), Debra Kelly (Ben), and Lorilee Clunas (Brian). She was a wonderful Grandma to 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Violet was a graduate of University of Toronto (Bachelor’s of Music, ARCT). She taught piano and Music for Young Children for many years. She was an active gardener, quilter, baker and cook. She was a pastor at Winnipeg Vineyard Church for 30 years. Violet cared for the needy with a compassionate, pastoral heart. She was kind, hospitable, and generous towards each person she served. She loved to travel with John and her family.

Viewing will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday January 9, 2026, at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main St., Winnipeg. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday January 10, 2026, at Portage Ave. MB Church. 1420 Portage Ave. Reception to follow.
