Lorraine and Joe and their family lived across the street from us in Lorette for nearly 40 years. Their kids played with our kids and she and my wife, Lulu, worked together at Ecole Lagimodiere for many years. They also walked together every day, read the same books and socialized. The Beaudry's were always there if we needed a hand with something. They were the best of neighbours and true friends. Joe, his siblings and I went to the same school and we knew his family well. So Joe's passing was a very sad time for us. Then, when Lorraine became sick, we couldn't believe it. At first, she still faithfully attended Sunday Mass with us but, as time went on, she became disruptive and had to stop. The writing was on the wall. Lorraine was hospitalized, the house was sold and that was that. It was another sad time for us. At this time, I'd like to extend my and my family's sincere sympathies to the Beaudry boys and their families in the passing of their mother. And my condolences go out as well to Gary who was there for Lorraine during the, i"m sure, very difficult times. - Posted by: Denis Robert (Neighbour, friend) on: Jan 03, 2026

We are very surprised to hear of Lorraine's passing. Our mother Audrey was on the same floor as Lorraine and we would talk with Gary as he was there everyday helping her with lunch. I live in Lorette and he was telling us how she lived out there as well. Very sad to hear. Our condolences to Gary and to the family. - Posted by: Collette Gervais (mother was on the same floor at Foyer Valade) on: Dec 30, 2025

To all of Lorraine's family, especially her children. I worked with Lorraine at Ecole Lagimodière in Lorette. I have the best souvenirs possible of Lorraine as she was dedicated to her work and had great work ethics. So sad to see that she passed away at such a young age. Thinking of you during those difficult times. - Posted by: Denise Perron (work colleague) on: Dec 27, 2025
