It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Margo Witzke on December 26, 2025, at Beausejour Hospital following several health challenges.
Margo lived much of her life in Beausejour. Margo’s main vocation was childcare. At home, she was the anchor of the family and excelled as a homemaker. In her retirement years, she enjoyed maintaining a beautiful flower garden, shopping, casino outings and short distance travel.
Margo was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Richard and Natalie Greenwood (Hemminger), brother Richard (Bob) Greenwood, sister Brenda Klapprat, brother-in-law Lawrence Klapprat, son-in-law Darin Semenchuk, parents-in-law, Alfred and Helen Witzke.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 year, Alfred Witzke; her son Jason Taylor (Nicole); her daughter Krista Semenchuk; grandchildren, Alek, Emily, Bodie and Wren; brother Gary Greenwood (Carmen); brother-in-law Robert Witzke (Debbie); nieces, nephews and friends.
Our family thanks Pamela, Gail, Sandra and Janet and families for their kind support. Thanks to paramedics, medical and support staff who helped us in the last few months.
Per Margo’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choosing.
