Peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, Sandra Evelyn Marie Lachiver passed away on December 22, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with MS.
Sandra will be remembered with love and will be deeply missed by all her brothers and sisters, (Annick and Brian, Monique, Michel and Jamie, Suzanne and Patrick, Roger, Joel and Francine , Yvon and Tammy), nephews and nieces, (Suzanne, Ian, Alain, Tanya, Blaise, Yann, Jannie, Patrick, Richard, Solaine, Kathryn, Kedric, Natasha) and great- nephews and nieces, (Andrew, Bri, Ronan, Elodie, Akina, Ford, Vienna, Teo) and her many, many friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, Ginette and Marcel, her brothers, Alain and Pierre, her sister and closest friend Arlette Laroche, and brother-in-law William (Bill) Earle.
The family wishes to thank St. Boniface Hospital, fourth floor staff, for their compassionate care. Thank you to the home care workers who got to know Sandra and whom she regarded as friends. And a special thank you to Maggie Boyko and her team who ensured that her pain and suffering were kept to a minimum.
In keeping with her wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held in early summer at an outdoor venue to be announced at a later date.
