On December 16, 2025, with deep regret we announce the passing of Robert G. McCorrie.
Robert leaves to mourn his wife, Barbara; mother, Ruth; brother, Cameron (Kary); and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was predeceased by his father Robert and brother Stuart.
Robert an intelligent man, kind and a gentleman who loved to socialize with his many friends. Bob and Barb hosted many parties and had bonfires at their East St Paul home. Some of their friends played guitar, sang, and it was always a good time. Robert enjoyed fishing and hiking at the cabin at the Big Whiteshell and friends were always welcome. Lots of fun, good food, and great memories!
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Robert worked for over 20 years at Sullivan Strong Scott until the company moved to Calgary. After, he worked hard at various places in Winnipeg and was greatly appreciated for his efforts by his employers.
Robert loved his vegetable garden and always had one of the best crops of tomatoes around due to his scientific research. Everyone who knew Robert loved him because of his wonderful uplifting spirit, generosity, and his beautiful warm smile.
Robert, you are loved and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be set for family and friends on a later date

To the Mc Corrie Family I send my deepest sympathy. I know Bob's last few years have been difficult health wise however the loss of a son and a brother never has the right time in our hearts. Bob was a kind man. We always had a good time with him. It was sad to see his health-related decline the past years, but he accepted his fate with kindness and grace. He will be missed. - Posted by: Mark W (Friend) on: Jan 06, 2026

Bob and I went out in the summer in 1976, and knew each other a year and a half previous to that. We moved in together in 1981, and decided to get married in 2006. Had our 19th wedding anniversary in 2025. We had already been together years before. I’ve known him 50 years total. Bob you are the sweetest, dearest man and you have taken my heart. I love you so much. XOXOX - Posted by: Barbara (Souse) on: Jan 04, 2026
