• I was 2 or 3 years younger than Jim. We grew up together in St Boniface, attended the same Provencher school, lived at family Falcon lake cottage while under construction early 50’s. Jim followed in the footsteps of our older brother Roger by joining Manitoba Telephone. I left to Quebec in 1963 and remained there but for 7 years in Burlington Ontario. Our paths crossed only a few times since:. Skiing in Banff a few times, skating on the Assiniboine at the Forks, visiting Quebec City. • Jim and I canoed, camped, went to dances at adventurers, walked Walmart St. Vital. He was my support after a relationship breakup, also an MTS retired like myself. One canoe trip was Tulabi Falls canoeing and camping. Jim had us over for get together sat his condo and his home previous. I remember helping him change a toilet in one of his rental homes on Henderson hwy. I miss him . When he was in an assisting living place I would call . It was difficult at times .
