I was saddened to hear of Frank’s passing. I knew him both as Frankie’s father and as someone I was fortunate to spend time with personally. He stayed in my home on several occasions, and I remember those visits fondly—especially the conversations we shared while watching football and enjoying more than a few glasses of brandy. Sadly, right to the end, he remained a Bombers fan. I knew him as a man who lived a full life, grounded in family and sport. He had a genuine warmth that put people at ease, and time spent with him was always enjoyable and meaningful. On his last visit, we went to the Calgary Stampede together. It was a long and exhausting day, but I’m grateful to have shared that experience with Frank and Elaine. To Elaine, to the kids I’ve met, and to the one I’ve yet to meet, You’re in my thoughts as you move through this difficult time and honour a life well lived and deeply appreciated. Through Frankie, I know how loved Frank was, and it’s clear he truly lived a rich and fulfilling life. - Posted by: Michael Glossop (Friend of the family) on: Jan 06, 2026
